Fred Asbeare ~ Puttin' on the Ritz
A one of a kind and the second in this limited 'Stars of the Silver Screen' series ... this smart bear has all the right finishing touches.
Standing 53.5 cm (21") tall and sitting at approx. 38cm (15") depending on how the neck is turned, he is six (6) way locknut jointed and having this double jointed elongated neck enables him to be posed in a variety of different positions.
Fred has been made of midnmight blue scruffy string Schulte mohair that has an olive green backing with coordinating wool felt paw pads and inner ears. He is filled with a combination of 'A' grade polyfibre and glass beads. His large expressive hand painted sparkling olive German glass eyes have white felt eye surounds and olive green eyelids and his nose and mouth are hand stitched midnight blue perle cotton.
Looking like a million dollars with his top hat, gold topped cane, satin cravat, elegant diamante tie tack and the coup de grace, a pair of handmade crisp white paper taffeta spats, he would be a wonderful addition to any collection.
