My Friend and I
are quite inseperable. I tell you, I am a real softie at heart and cannot bear to leave my friend behind when I go out. So if you want me, he'll have to come too, as he accompanies me where ever I go.
I am 48 cm (19") tall and approx. 35cm (13.75") sitting and my friend sitting on my knee is just a mere 19cm (7.5") tall.
I am made from a lilac mohair with coordinating Ultrasuede paw pads on which my maker has needlefelted my big purple toes. I have German hand blown black glass eyes with white felt eye surrounds which makes me look a little dopey.
I am six (6) way locknut jointed with an elongated neck, enabling me to look into your eyes and beguile you. I can be posed in a variety of different positions and I am stuffed with a combination of A-grade polyfibre filling and glass beads.
My rather large purple variegated nose is hand stitched with hand painted pima cotton and my mouth and septum are embroiderd with black perle cotton. My maker knitted me a scarf to keep my long neck warm and she even matched the colour to my nose and toes!
My little friend is in a short sparse mohair with coordinating Ultrasuede paw pads. He is also fully jointed with black German glass eyes and stuffed like me.
