Rudolf Bearantino ~ The Sheik
This romantic hero is the third, one of a kind bear, in this limited 'Stars of the Silver Screen' series and I am proud to say, 2007's winner of the People's Choice Award at the Woodend Teddy Bear Show.

Standing 53.5 cm (21") tall and sitting at approx. 38cm (15") depending on how the neck is turned, he is six (6) way locknut jointed and having this double jointed elongated neck enables him to be posed in a variety of positions.

Rudolf has been made from an unusual dusty lavender scruffy string Schulte mohair, that has an charcoal grey backing. He has coordinating ultrasuede paw pads and inner ears and is filled with a combination of 'A' grade polyfibre and glass beads. His large expressive hand painted sparkling amethyst German glass eyes have white felt eye surrounds and dusty lavender ultrasuede eyelids with long black eyelashes. I have added subtle shading around his eyes, to give that true "Valentino" look and embroidered his nose with purple Patina rayon and his mouth with black perle cotton.

I have used a beautiful purple Sari fabric from India, which has fine pin stripes of a gold and burgundy blend, to make his headpiece and finished it with gold and black braid. Rudolf also has a matching cummerbund complete with dagger and sheath. This handsome and debonair bear should certainly win the heart of the most descerning collector.
SORRY I HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!
